We spend one day in "country music land". To be honest, we do not know a lot about country music, but after that day we knew much more than in the morning :-).
We visited the Hall of Fame of Country Music, the Walk of Fame and then we bought a CD with Billboard nummer one songs. We had lunch in the "Wild Horse" with free dancing lessons and great southern food, YUMM! After the delicous lunch I went to the store just a few shops down and I got my first pair of cowboy boots, okay, I got two pairs and also David got one (buy one and get two pairs free). David was so proud that he wore them the next day for breakfast.
I liked Nashville more than Memphis as it is cleaner and not so run down. It is also very nice strolling through the streets and listen to music.
Wir haben einen Tag in der Country-Musik-Hochburg verbracht. Um ehrlich zu sein, wir wissen nicht sehr viel über diese Musikrichtung, aber am Ende dieses Tages waren wir schlauer als zuvor :-).
Wir haben die Hall of Fame für Countrymusik, den Walk of Fame mit den vielen Sternen berühmter Countrstars besichtigt und uns sogar eine Country Musik CD mit Nummer eins Hits gekauft. Wir hatten unser Mittagessen im "Wilden Pferd" mit kostenlosem Tanzunterricht und gutem Südstaaten Essen, LECKER! Nach diesem guten Essen habe ich einige Läden weiter mein erstes Paar Cowboystiefel gekauft, okay es waren zwei Paar und David hat auch ein Paar bekommen, da e zwei Paar umsonst gab, wenn man eines bezahlt. David ist so stolz auf seine Cowboystiefel, dass er sie gleich am nächsten Morgen zum Frühstück angezogen hat.
Mir hat Nashville besser gefallen als Memphis, da es sauberer und besser erhalten ist. Außerdem ist es sehr schön, wenn man Musik hört wenn man durch die Straßen schlendert.
